River Rat Marathon

	NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION Run or Walk a full 26.2 mile marathon or a 13.1 mile half marathon from the historic Yankton river front out to Lewis & Clark Lake, around Lake Yankton, then back. Alternate biking route and 5K run being developed also. Awards to the first 3 places in each running catagory, bike event is a "fun ride" non conpetetive. Keep checking back, more information and updates to follow. We should have a website up and running in late October to take online registrations and payments and give details about the course. thanks

26.2 mile Marathon race starting at Riverside Park,Yankton SD and proceeding out to Scenic Lewis & Clark Lake, around Lake Yankton and back to the Riverside Park. 13.1 mile Half Marathon would go out to Lewis & Clark Marina and back to Riverside Park in Yankton. 5K also being developed. Places awarded to fastest times in each age group for runners. Bike fun ride route yet to be established. Proceeds this year to benefit Yankton National Guard Unit and Family Support Group, and the Yankton Science Club.
